Charlie White Columnist - Mr. Charlie Told Me So..Garden Tips, Plant of the Month   Charlie White has been working with plants all his life.  A Nursery manager for several local garden centers including Frank Otte Garden Center, Charlie has recently begun his own garden center.  Established as a side business in 1984, Idle Time Nursery will open a garden center in March of 1998 on Morgantown Rd across from Wood's Market.
Trained under landscape architect Steve Bowra, Charlie is extremely well versed in all aspects of the nursery business by  both hands on experience and study.  Charlie has been a journalist for The Amplifier's gardening column Mr. Charlie Told Me So... since February 1996.  Charlie is also a speaker on occasion at garden club events.  A Landscape and Propogation consultant, Charlie specializes in among other subjects, Native  Plants.
